2022 NBA Mock Draft: Cade Cunningham, Paolo Banchero among top prospects
With the draft order set and teams already beginning to formulate their plans ahead of Junes draft, here's a look at how the first round could play out.
Paolo Banchero, Duke
Banchero is a 6-foot-10 forward who averaged 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game as a freshman at Duke. He is a versatile player who can score in a variety of ways and is also a good rebounder and passer. Banchero has a frame that could rival a young Karl Anthony-Towns and is considered to be one of the best prospects in this year's draft class.
Cade Cunningham, Oklahoma State
Cunningham is a 6-foot-8 guard who averaged 20.1 points. 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a freshman at Oklahoma State. He is a skilled scorer who can create his own shot and is also a good passer and rebounder. Cunningham is considered to be the best prospect in this year's draft class and is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick.
Jalen Green, G League Ignite
Green is a 6-foot-6 guard who averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in the G League Ignite this season. He is a dynamic scorer who can get to the rim or shoot from the outside. Green is considered to be one of the most athletic players in this year's draft class and has the potential to be a star in the NBA.
